SÜTAŞ, which has been operating since 1975 and specializes in milk and dairy products;

After investments in Karajabey Aksaray and Tira in Turkey, the fourth, opens its integrated production facility in Bingol. Taking into account Bingöl's investment in SÜTAŞ, its overseas operations in Macedonia and Romania, this will be the 6th site for the company. SÜTAŞ processes about 800 million liters of milk per year in its factories.

52% of Bingol's land assets are pastures and meadows, and 32% are forests. For this reason, it is known that Bingol has very good potential in terms of the livestock sector.

In addition to the University's Faculty of Agriculture and the University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Bingol is also home to important institutions such as the Meat and Milk Institute. In addition to this, intensive government support is also available for the industry in our province.

SÜTAŞ, these advantages are provided by the province of Bingol, selected to create the fourth largest integrated dairy plant to evaluate investments on behalf of Turkey. In addition, these SÜTAŞ investments are supported by the state under the Project-Based Investment Incentive System, which is also called super-incentive in society. This system provides different support according to the qualifications and needs of the projects. Support was also provided to SÜTA in relation to investment in a production facility in Bingöl.

The investment in this facility will amount to about 734 million Turkish liras. SÜTAŞ aims to increase its production capacity in Turkey by 30%. SÜTAŞ will process 1,063 tons of milk per day at the Bingol enterprises, produce 6.4 MWh of electricity from 600 tons of feed and 80 tons of organic fertilizers per day, 5 dairy farms with 10,000 milking capacities, 1 breeding farm for 6,500 heads. and invests in 1 feed farm for 5000 heads. In addition, as part of this investment, a center for genomic selection and embryo production will be established; It is also planned to breed breeds suitable for the conditions of the region. When the investment is completed, the company will employ 1,012 people.

The creation of this enterprise is aimed at reviving the region's economy through milk production and the broad effect it will create. In order for milk production to be efficient, healthy and sustainable, it is considered appropriate to implement the Contract Dairy Cattle and Contract Feed Production models, for which SÜTAŞ provides a purchase guarantee. With this model, SÜTAŞ will work with about 5,000 producer families and will provide an average of 67 million TL in regular monthly income to farmers and other suppliers in the region.

With the commissioning of the enterprise, dairy and fodder crops grown throughout the region within a radius of up to 250 km from Bingol will become an important market for this enterprise. With regard to animal husbandry and feed mills in the region; When the multiplier effect of investment is taken into account, it is projected that significant changes will take place in sectors such as machinery and equipment, packaging materials, construction, software and software needed for new agricultural technologies, automation and livestock. management providing support services in the field of mechanics, electricity and electronics. This large facility will contribute to the economic and social development of not only Bingol, but also the surrounding provinces. About 10,000 families will be affected by the positive external influences of this facility.
